ABG welcomes the Bank of England

On Tuesday 11^th October, we welcomed the Bank of England, for a presentation and insights into the UK’s economy.
Phil Eckersley, their South East Agent took us through previous predictions and forecasts, giving us insights into current trends and what it means for our businesses and households.

The presentation and discussions come under strict Chatham House Rules but some topics covered were:

• Inflation
• Sterling
• Labour markets
• Mortgages
• Investments

We were privileged to have been given some really interesting information and lots to think about as we move into Q4 of 2022 and look ahead to Q1 2023.
