ABOUT ABG

Active Business Group – or ABG as we usually call ourselves, is just that… active!

We meet weekly, we see each other outside of the meetings, we book each other for work, refer work to each other, share socials, and do what we can to support and grow each other’s businesses.

We also like the odd social here and there too, so pub dinners and days out are often on offer too!

WHO WE ARE

We’re an independent group of businesses based across east Kent who like to keep things friendly and fun.

Most of our businesses are small – sole traders or LTD micro businesses, but most are well-established; all with good local reputations.

MEETINGS

Our meetings start at 7:30am and we meet in the beautiful breakfast room of The Cave Hotel & Golf Resort in Boughton, just outside of Faversham. (Very easy to get to from the A2/M2).

Upon arrival, we grab a tea or coffee and mingle, catch up, see what everyone’s been up to, and then we sit down to a hearty, cooked breakfast for some more chatting with those on our table.

As soon as we’re finished, we introduce ourselves and our business to the group, sharing anything we’d like them to know – new products and services, referrals we would like, introductions we’d be keen to have, help with something, or a thank you.

We tend to wrap up at about 8:45am, then head off at around 9am once we’ve all said goodbye.
