A Milestone to Remember

I’m incredibly proud to share the news of a significant milestone for the Active Business Group (ABG) – our 25th anniversary! It was truly a special occasion as we gathered to celebrate a quarter-century of fostering local business connections and growth here in Kent.

Our Summer BBQ celebration, held at The Dove Boutique Restaurant and Pub in Dargate, was a resounding success, bringing together current members, esteemed ex-members, and other distinguished guests. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on how far we’ve come.

For 25 years, ABG has been more than just a networking group; it’s been a vibrant community for entrepreneurs and professionals across Faversham, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Canterbury, and Thanet. Our longevity is a true testament to the friendly, proactive, and mutually supportive ethos that defines us. We champion each other’s success, and that collaborative spirit is what makes ABG so unique.

Beyond our celebrations, I’m delighted to announce that we also raised an impressive £500 for Demelza Hospices, Kent, our nominated charity for 2025. Giving back to our community is something we deeply value.

As we look to the future, ABG remains steadfast in its dedication to fostering business growth and cultivating a referral-rich community. We’re excited about our upcoming business events designed to empower Kent’s startup and small businesses.
